Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions are made between us, Cheapink Limited, and you, the "customer" in respect of purchases of goods from the cheapink.co.uk website.
You must agree to these Terms and conditions before you place an order with us. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Your Satisfaction
Cheap Ink are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. If you have any suggestions, comments or complaints please email us at customerservice@cheapink.co.uk or contact us on the details shown below. We will acknowledge any complaints within 5 working days (usually much sooner) and work towards a speedy resolution to your best satisfaction, dealing with your complaint confidentially and keeping you fully informed at all times.
Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "CHECKOUT" and you will be asked for the remaining details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
You can pay by credit/debit card, by cheque or Postal Orders (payable to "Cheapink Limited"). We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo and Delta. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, or mail if you prefer not to use our secure online payment system. If you are unsure about any payment method, please call us.
If your credit card or debit card is not authorized or declined, we will not process your order, however you can contact us (see above) to arrange an alternative payment method.
1.Purchase orders for goods.
1.1 Purchases can only be accepted for delivery within the UK mainland, Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. (for international orders, please e-mail export@cheapink.co.uk).
1.2 Each purchase order from www.cheapink.co.uk shall be deemed to incorporate these terms and conditions.
1.3 The display of products on www.cheap ink.co.uk constitutes an invitation to trade and not a formal offer.
1.4 An offer will be made by the Customer on the completion of the purchase process contemplated in the ordering process set out in these pages.
1.5 An offer is only accepted by cheapink.co.uk and cheapink.co.uk only agrees to be contractually bound when cheapink.co.uk despatches a confirmation of order to your e-mail address/postal address/fax number, depending on the method of ordering adopted.
1.6 Goods are sold subject to availability and, in relation to certain specific goods, there are geographical restrictions.
1.7 Cheapink.co.uk reserves the right to alter the specification of the goods insofar as the performance of such goods is not materially altered.
2. Prices and payment
2.1 In addition to the list price of goods, cheapink.co.uk reserves the right to make an extra charge for deliveries, the price of which will be shown at the point of ordering.
2.2 Ownership of a good shall not pass until cash to clear funds for the full price has been received by cheapink.co.uk until it has passed to the customer, the customer shall act as bailee of the goods for cheapink.co.uk and, at so far as reasonably practicable shall store the goods so that they are readily identifiable as the property of cheapink.co.uk.
2.3 Cheapink.co.uk reserves the right to refuse and cancel an account and /or delivery at any time. In such circumstances, if the customer has paid for relevant goods, a refund or credit note shall be issued.
2.4 Prices for goods are exclusive of UK Value Added Tax and other relevant sales tax unless otherwise indicated in the ordering process.
3. Delivery Schedule
Orders placed before 2.30pm are despatched next working day subject to stock. For international orders please email export@cheapink.co.uk.
3.1 Delivery shall be deemed to take place on the date of the first attempt at delivery to the customer's premises or other place specified for delivery. All goods must be signed for by an adult aged over 18 years or over on delivery, if no-one is at the address when the delivery is attempted the goods may be retained by the driver.
3.2 Working days are Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm) Sat (10am - 3pm)excluding any Bank or public holidays.
3.3 Each order or each instalment of an order shall constitute a separate contract.
4. Back Orders
If your item is not in stock at the time of ordering, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
5. Cancellation and Returns
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days. All goods must be in perfect resaleable condition and be returned by recorded delivery (see address on "Contact Us" page) Return postage and carriage must be paid by you. Goods that have been ordered in error may be returned subject to a 25% handling charge. Your money will be refunded within 7 working days.
6. Credit Card Security
We take credit card security very seriously and employ the maximum possible measures on this site. All credit card transactions are dealt with by an industry-leading provider of secure, online transaction systems. Your card details are encrypted on a secure server and your transaction is processed in real time. It is practically impossible for your card details to be obtained by another party. 7. Guarantees and Liability
Everything sold on Cheapink.co.uk is covered by a manufacturer's guarantee. Should you not be satisfied with any product you purchased from us, simply return it to us unused as new and we will refund you in full or replace the product as you wish.
7.1 Goods sold by cheapink.co.uk are sold with guarantee that they will be free of defects in material or workmanship at delivery and, provided they are used in the proper way, for the relevant period from delivery as indicated at the point of ordering.
7.2 Cheapink.co.uk accepts no liability for defects in goods resulting from customer designs or requirements, or arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence or misuse.
7.3 Information on www.cheapink.co.uk may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. Information and product specifications, including information relating to price and availability may be changed or updated without notice. No guarantee is given that the information accessible via www.cheapink.co.uk is accurate, complete or current. www.cheapink.co.uk may be temporarily unavailable from time to time. Nothing on www.cheapink.co.uk shall be construed as a warranty or representation.
7.4 Except as otherwise stated in these terms, cheapink.co.uk's entire liability in respect of a particular good that has passed into the ownership of a customer and the customer' remedies shall be limited to, at cheapink.co.uk's option and in accordance with its returns policy from time to time, a credit note in respect of the amount paid by the customer to cheapink.co.uk for such good; or the replacement or repair of the good by cheapink.co.uk.
7.5 Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation, but except as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions, all conditions, warranties, Terms and undertakings express or implied statutory or otherwise, are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7.6 Cheapink.co.uk shall have no liability to the customer for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Privacy Policy
8.1 We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice.
8.2 Any personal data held may be used to send you further information about products in which you may be interested, or to inform you of important functionality changes to the www.cheapink.co.uk web site, and may be shared with our business partners. However, you may notify cheapink.co.uk that you do not wish to receive such information or to have any information shared by emailing info@cheapink.co.uk. In any case we will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future during the checkout phase.
8.3 The type of information we collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number and email address. We do not collect your credit card details (credit card details are handled by WorldPay). We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
8.4 Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option. Cookies are harmless text files and contain no inbuilt "stealth" or intelligence. The information collected by cookies can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings (however this may prevent you from using the site properly).

9. Compatible Cartridges Compatible cartridges are defined as either new cartridges manufactured by a company other than the Original i.e. Ink Rite produces compatible Epson cartridges, OR a remanufactured cartridge. All 'Compatible' Hewlett Packard, Lexmark cartridges feautured on this site have been remanufactured to high standards by an ISO approved company.
